On 2 August 2024 at 9:00 PM, the elite Viennese ensemble Johann Strauss Virtuosen Orchestra will appear on the open-air stage of the Tsarevets Fortress.
The concert, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss II, will be a true celebration of Viennese classical music filled with elegance, rhythm, and inspiration.
Under the refined baton of the renowned maestro Guido Mancusi, the orchestra will recreate the brilliance and enchantment of the golden era of Viennese classicism. The virtuoso musicians, selected from Vienna’s most prestigious orchestras, will offer the audience an incomparable experience, infused with the lightness and finesse of Strauss’s masterpieces.
After triumphant concerts in Greece, Japan, and China, the distinguished Johann Strauss Virtuosen Orchestra has chosen Bulgaria as the next stop on its musical tour. Each country on the tour is represented by a leading national philharmonic, and in Bulgaria, the honor belongs to the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra.
