The musical project “Queen at the Symphony” of the Symphony – Shumen brings the eternal legacy of the legendary British group into a new, unique dimension.
Under the baton of maestro Gancho Ganchev, the rich symphonic arrangements of the Shumen Philharmonic breathe new life into the eternal hits “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “The Show Must Go On”, “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions”.
On the stage next to the orchestra stands an authoritative line-up of rock instrumentalists and the remarkable voices of soloists Kaloyan Nikolov – Kala, Antoanela Petrova, Neicho Petrov – Reggie and Eva Perchemlieva. The grand vocal scale is complemented by the special participation of the Varna Children’s and Youth Opera Choir, whose multi-layered performances recreate the complex choral structure of the original compositions.
“Queen at the Symphony” is the perfect symbiosis between rock energy and the orchestral class of the Sinfonietta – Shumen – an exceptional experience that brings the audience to its feet.
