Today the 2019 edition of Stage of the Ages was officially unveiled at a special event in Veliko Tarnovo, featuring representatives of the state operas in Burgas, Varna amd Ruse, local Veliko Tarnovo Music and Drama Theatre and the special guest this year – Russian Imperial Ballet, represented by Mr. Gediminas Taranda, Artistic director of the company.
The 2019 edition of the festival includes seven events – opera, ballet, opera in the circus and for the first time – symphony concert, spanning from 13 July to 4 October.
The festival was awarded with the prestigious EFFE label for 2019-2020 of the European Festival Association and its patron is Mr. Boil Banov – Minister of Culture of Bulgaria
